Graham Chronofighter Oversize 'Titanium SAS' Watch - Sturdy and Distinctive

Oct 13, 2008
The Chronofighter Oversize 'Titanium SAS' is a new timekeeping creation from Graham. This is an oversized watch with a titanium case measuring 47 mm in diameter.

The large camouflage dial offers perfect legibility, even in the dark. The dial is completed with the distinctive polished steel indexes shaped as a 'Stealth' bomber with Superluminova inlays.

The Graham Chronofighter Oversize 'Titanium SAS' accommodates the new automatic G1734 bicompax calibre with continuous small seconds and a 30-minute counter.

The date function is presented via a window at 7 o'clock. One more advantage provided by the movement is a 42-hour power reserve.

At 6 o'clock you will notice the embossed SAS coat of arms and motto. The seconds counter is found at 3 o'clock, while the 30-minute counter is at 9 o'clock.

One more eye-catching detail is the oversized pusher mechanism for the chronograph operation. The mechanism is found on the left, being protected under the sleeve, yet easily accessible.

The sturdy comfortable-grip crown, the start/stop lever and the rectangular-shaped reset-button, has been smartly integrated into the robust case construction. The domed sapphire crytal is provided with antireflective treatment on both sides. The case-back of the Graham watch is secured by 8 screws. The timepiece is 100-meter water resistant.

The considerable size and light weight of the matte titanium case accentuate the technical character of the watch coupled with a black or camouflage green hypoallergenic rubber strap. The timepiece will be available in a limited number of 300 pieces.

'SAS' in the name of the Graham watch implies the 'Special Air Service' that was established during World War II by the British Army members and the RAF. The service operated generally in Northern Africa in special actions against the German troops commanded by Rommel. Its emblem depicts the legendary winged sword Excalibur featuring the motto 'Who dares wins'.
