Meet Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer Watch

The craftsmen at Glashutte Original gave birth to the new Senator Chronometer one-of-a-kind watch, to be officially unveiled at Only Watch 2011. All proceeds raised from this charity auction will be donated to assist research efforts on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.


The new Glashutte Original watch employs a 42mm case, made of 18k red gold. It is marked with a special Only Watch engraving. The back part of the model is fitted with a sapphire glass, which permits a glance into a 58-jewel certified chronometer movement.

The caliber breathes life into an array of functions, presented on a matte black dial. Demonstrating silver with radial Roman numerals and an outer minute track, it offers central hours and minutes.

The display of the new Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer watch also provides a day/night indication and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. It is counterbraced by a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The Roman numeral at 3 o’clock gives way to a date aperture.

The new Glashutte Original watch is coupled with a black strap. Delivered in a unique wood box, the model is accompanied by a special certificate.
