New Girard-Perregaux ww.tc Chronograph Watch - Sophistication, Strength of Character

Sep 12, 2012
Girard-Perregaux is pleased to present a new sportier interpretation of one of its great classics - the ww.tc Chronograph watch. The model enjoys remarkable success due to its practicality, heart-winning design and technical sophistication.

The world time function provided by the watch offers a simultaneous display of all time zones via the dial. Moreover, the timepiece features the date, small second, chronograph function and a day/night indicator.

The domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal shields the dial. For perfect legibility, the thoughtfully laid-out dial details are accentuated with help of color contrasts.

The silver-finished dial of the ww.tc chronograph demonstrates contrasts of black and white. The color of red accentuates the key elements. The indices, figures and hour and minute hands are provided with a luminescent coating. The chronograph counters stay out in black. The dial features a special ring with 24 names of the cities for 24 time zones.

The 43 mm case is sculptured in steel and guarantees 30-meter water-resistance. It accommodated a self-winding manufacture movement - Girard-Perregaux GP033C0. The 63-jewel mechanism, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, provides 46 hours of power reserve.

The sapphire crystal case-back allows to admire beautiful workmanship of the movement, with the circular-grained plate, the bridges and oscillating weight embellished with the Côtes de Genève pattern, and blued steel screws.

The new Girard-Perregaux ww.tc Chronograph watch is teamed with an alligator leather strap equipped with a steel folding clasp.
