The new Girard-Perregaux watch is offered in an oval-shaped case, paved entirely with baguette-cut diamonds. The peerless artisans at the manufacture have thoroughly chosen 287 diamonds with respect to their cut, color and clarity. Setting of the gems, which weight totals to 20 carats, required over 700 hours of painstaking work.
The case is equipped with a winding crown, which is adorned with twelve baguette-cut diamonds and an exceptional rose-cut diamond.
The new Girard-Perregaux Cat’s Eye Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie watch boasts a diamond-studded dial, which makes a fine match with the geometry of the case. It ensures central hours and minutes.
A special eye-catcher of the display is a tourbillon mechanism, revealed in the opening at 6 o’clock. Composed of 72 parts, it features a gold bridge, illuminated by the play of dazzling diamonds. The tourbillon is linked to the up-to-date version of the manufactory-made movement, which won a gold medal at the Paris World Fair in 1889.
The incredible allure of the new Girard-Perregaux watch is emphasized by a dark-toned strap.
