In 2011,
Franck Muller stunned the world of Watchmaking by its
Giga Tourbillon, the largest tourbillon housed into a wristwatch. It has been highly appreciated by watch enthusiasts for its technical sophistication and precision.
This year,
Franck Muller unveils its technical feat in
three splendid versions, including one in white gold, one in pink gold and a PVD-coated skeleton-dial variation set with black diamonds. Every timepiece accommodates a
tourbillon that measures 20 mm in diameter and occupies half the space of the watch, the precious nature of which is accentuated with diamonds. The reverse movement is also embellished by a fine diamond setting.

The
case (43.70 mm x 59.20 mm) is teamed with a hand-sewn black alligator strap. The dial and case middle of the Cintrée Curvex-shaped
Giga Tourbillon are fully set with precious stones. The bridges and the plate of the skeleton model are worth special attention – their setting reflects outstanding delicacy. The plate is decorated with 351 diamonds, along with 342 diamonds on the back of the plate.

The heart of the timepiece is a
manually-wound mechanical movement –
Caliber FM 2100. Operating at a frequency of 18, 000 vibrations per hour, the 240-part mechanism provides 10 days of power-reserve.
The
new Franck Muller Giga Tourbillon watches are
30-meter water-resistant.
