The bronze case of the Gefica Kilimanjaro watch measures 42.5mm. The outer edge of the bezel, the lower part of the case-band, as well as the domed winding crown are all enhanced with original titanium beads. The sophisticated three-dimensional snow-white dial of the Gerald Genta watch curves inward towards its center. The finely designed dial features two superimposed semi-circular sections embellished with a horizontal line motif, as well as the concave applied scales crafted in bronze for indicating the minutes and the date.
In the upper hemisphere of the dial you will notice the semi-circular scale for the retrograde minutes, with an aperture for the jumping hours located below it. The hour number in red is clearly visible on a white background.
The lower part of the dial has the retrograde date scale. When the last day of the month arrives, the hand indicating the date is released and instantly jumps backward to "1".
The seconds are indicated by a brilliant red hand, sweeping along the outer scale of the dial. The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal.
The Gerald Genta Gefica Kilimanjaro watch is equipped with a self-winding 1004 Calibre movement, the beauty of which is revealed through the sapphire crystal exhibition case-back. The movement reveals the brand’s signature "Potter finish", with its golden shade inspired by the look of supreme old calibers.
Both bridges and the central rotor featuring the Gerald Genta signature are adorned with a nice circular grained pattern. The movement bridges also fascinate by their finely chamfered edges. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides a 45-hour power reserve. The timepiece
is 100-meter water resistant.
The Gerald Genta Gefica Kilimanjaro watch, reviewed by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, will be developed in a limited edition of just 100 pieces.
Each timepiece is coupled with a hand-sewn white crocodile leather strap fitted with a black titanium triple-deployant clasp.
