Gerald Genta Arena QP GMT - Play of Contrasts

Jul 01, 2008
In 2008, Gerald Genta has unveiled new version of the Arena QP GMT. The light titanium case of the watch is coupled with a heavy platinum bezel, forming a contrasting union of matt and brilliant surfaces. The bold case construction measures 45 mm in diameter.

The new Gerald Genta watch paralyzes the glance by the majestic play of the Gerald Genta colors - red and black. The dial of the timepiece makes one feel the mechanical spirit of the watch inspired by the exclusive world of automobiles.

The multi-layer dial of the Gerald Genta Arena QP GMT strikes by the sophistication of its construction. Its perforated base allows to glimpse at the Potter-finished movement. The GMT and perpetual calendar displays are distinguished by the successful use of colours. The dagger-like hands indicate the local hours and minutes together with the dual time zone and date.

The 2,4,8 and 10 numerals are applied and polished, the same as the rims of the day and month counters, accentuating the brilliance of the bezel.

The sapphire case-back reveals a self-winding movement fitted with a solid gold rotor and embellished with exceptional Gerald Genta finishing. The old-gold 'Potter' color and concentric circular graining improve a modernized vintage look of the mechanism. The 27-jewel movement offers an advantage of a 45-hour power-reserve.

The Gerald Genta Arena QP GMT watch goes on a stylish alligator leather strap fitted with a titanium deployment buckle.
