The prominent watchmaking house Franc Vila is proud to announce its new horological accomplishment, named Fvt28 Jumping Hours "Ivy Edition". A distinctively feminine interpretation, the new Franc Vila watch accommodates a self-winding Fvt28 calibre movement, which provides functions of jumping hours, minutes and seconds.Embellished with 27 jewels, this mechanism incorporates an exclusive Franc Vila "Gold Concept" rotor. The movement offers a 42-hour power reserve.
The new brainchild from Franc Vila employs a case, sculptured in DieHard Extreme steel. Produced in the signature “Esprit Unique” shape, it is fitted with an elliptical and circular bezel. The watch has been manufactured in a variety of case versions.
The blue interpretation is endowed with a bezel and horns, enhanced by a subtle interplay of 387 pure TW VVS diamonds and two sapphires. The overall weight of the dazzling diamonds constitutes 2.45 carats. The white variation, meanwhile, features a bezel, with the inner surface paved with 91 diamonds and 2 sapphires. The weight of the scintillating diamonds totals to 0.7 carats.
The dial and case-back of the Franc Vila watch are both protected by sapphire crystals, glare-proofed on both sides. This timepiece is submersible to 100 meters.
The brand’s novelty is available with two dial executions: blue or white mother-of-pearl. It depicts an alluring “IVY” floral motif. The display is outfitted with hour-markers, adorned with 8 sapphires or 8 diamonds. The jumping hour window can be found at 12 o’clock. It is kept company by the small seconds counter, placed at 6 o’clock.
The Franc Vila Fvt28 Jumping Hours “Ivy Edition” watch is affixed to a blue or white hand-stitched alligator leather strap, which terminates in a DieHard Extreme steel buckle. The timepiece is to be launched in a limited edition of 88 items.
