Balmain Flamea Watch - Refined and Exciting

Dec 06, 2010
Exciting and mysterious, the new Flamea ladys timepiece by Balmain has recently arrived to the challenging watchmaking scene. The original inspiration for this horological novelty served an exotic plant Crassula flamea allied with a cheerful dancing of blue flames in a campfire.

Both the abundant foliage of the plant and the mesmerizing flames are artistically presented on the mother-of-pearl dial with arabesques. It is liberated from numerals or hour-markers to keep the focus on the marvelous background.

The display of the new Balmain watch moves forward with a simple, yet satisfying presentation of just hours and minutes.

The basic functions are controlled by a charismatic time-setting crown, located at 3 oclock. The upper part of the display is marked with the brands name. Protecting the dial is a top quality mineral crystal.

The public can also admire the dials, offered without arabesques, in white mother-of-pearl or black enamel interpretations. The real eye-catchers of the black enamel dial are two Arabic numerals, revealed at 6 and 12 o'clock.

The Balmain watch is set in a graceful steel case. It captures attention with its gentle curves, which remind of a womans neck. The case is highlighted by the sparkle of 50 diamonds. The water-resistance of the new Flamea watch is assured down to 50 meters.

An ivory satin strap, fitted with a folding buckle, sets a final touch to an irresistible aura of refinement exuded by the new Balmain watch.
