Distinguished by the brand’s proprietary LLT self-illuminating technology, the new models are offered in the imposing round-shaped cases, crafted from stainless steel. Both of them feature a black PVD-treated surface. The diameter of the new Field Automatic A.1801 Three-Hand timepiece is equal to 43 mm, while that of the A.1867 Chronograph watch constitutes 48 mm.
The case is equipped with a charismatic winding crown, positioned at 3 o’clock. The chronograph model is also fitted with two pushers, presented at 2 and 4 o’clock. The water-resistance of the case is ensured down to 100 meters.
The case of each piece is outlined by an impressive bezel, also round in shape. The bezel securely holds a high-grade sapphire crystal. The same glass is employed in the manufacturing of the case back.
The top glass serves to protect a perfectly balanced dial, performed in silver or black. The displays of both Luminox watches are completed with white-painted Arabic numerals and centralized steel hands of the same color. The latter indicate hours, minutes and seconds.
These timekeeping instruments also offer date and day indications, which appear in separate exhibition windows at 3 o’clock. The new A.1867 Chronograph watch is additionally endowed with three chronograph counters, exposed at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock.
The chief attribute of the timepieces is represented by twelve LLT tubes: eleven green and an orange one at 12 o’clock. They are located closer to the extremity of the dial. A pair of green tubes is also integrated into the hour and minutes hands. This exclusive technology provides enough illumination to make the models perfectly readable.
The new Field Automatic A.1801 Three-Hand watch is powered by an automatic ETA 2878 movement. The new A.1867 Chronograph watch, meanwhile, accommodates a Valjoux 7750 movement. The power reserve, assured by both mechanisms, constitutes 42 hours.
Both Luminox watches are mounted on brown leather straps, adorned with white stitching.
