The core of this revolutionary watch is enclosed in a cambered steel case, which boasts a diameter of 45 mm. It is fitted with a screw-down crown. The front side of the case is armed with a glareproofed sapphire crystal. The self-winding interpretation of the watch also features a see-through case-back.
The water-resistance of the novel timepiece is down to 100 meters.
The Christian Jacques Explorator watch exposes a guilloche black carbon fibre dial. Set within the dial are 30-minute, 1/10 seconds and small seconds sub-dials, positioned at 9, 6 and 3 o’clock correspondingly. They are joined by the oversized date aperture at 12 o’clock. The alternative version of the display includes three hands with central seconds and large date at 3 o’clock.
Keeping the Christian Jacques watch secured to the wearer’s wrist is a leather or rubber strap, finished with a folding clasp.
The new timepieces of the brand are to be officialy presented at Baselworld 2010.
