Nov 02, 2010
The horological company Roger Dubuis delights the audience with the presentation of its bewitching Excalibur Double Tourbillon watch.

A clever blend of the state-of-the-industry technology and the dramatic aesthetic appeal, the new Roger Dubuis watch is available with an imposing 45.0 mm case. Rendered in platinum, it can withstand water-pressure at 30 meters.

The timepiece is enhanced by an exciting dial. It captures attention with the oversized Roman numerals, dressed in black.

The display also comprises Arabic numerals, featured on a retrograde minutes scale. Keeping pace of hours and minutes are centralized platinum hands.

The undeniable highlight of the dial is a double tourbillon mechanism. It is exposed on a segment, which extends from 4 to 8 oclock.

Animating the functions, provided by the new Excalibur Double Tourbillon watch, is a hand-wound mechanical movement. A remarkable creation of the house, it operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 48-hour power reserve. The mechanism carries the Poincon de Geneve quality hallmark.

Offered in a limited edition of just 28 pieces, the new Roger Dubuis watch is teamed with a black leather strap.
