Ernest Borel is excited to unveil its new Jules Borel watch, named after the brand’s founder.
A successful combination of elegant style and unrivalled functionality, the new Ernest Borel watch bears evidence to the 150-year history of the house. It is offered with a polished stainless steel or 18K pink gold case, which measures 40 mm in diameter. The model is built to be 50-meter water-resistant.
The front side of the case is equipped a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The qualified craftsmen within the manufacture have also fitted the watch with a see-through case-back.
The latter allows the owner of the new Jules Borel watch to admire the automatic rhodium-plated ETA 2892-A2 movement, which incorporates an additional Soprod 9094 module. It is also graced with "Cotes de Geneve" finish.
The caliber serves to animate the functions of hours, minutes, seconds, day, retrograde date and power reserve. They are immediate and clear on the guilloched anthracite or white dial. It is completed with applied hour-markers and a Roman numeral at 12 o’clock. The minute track is found on the inner bezel ring.
The day indication is offered at 9 o’clock. It is visually balanced by a retrograde date display at 3 o’clock. The power reserve indicator is featured at 6 o’clock.
Completing the consummate appearance of the new Ernest Borel watch is a stainless steel bracelet with a safety buckle. The issue of the model is strictly limited to just 688 pieces.
