The watchmaker Jacob & Co has recently enriched its emblematic Epic II collection with an eye-catching chronograph model.The new timepiece epitomises a perfect union of bright colors, innovative design and the finest mastery in watchmaking. It has adopted a 47. 50 mm case, rendered in stainless steel. The case is treated with black PVD coating.
The new Jacob & Co watch is outlined by an appealing bezel, crafted from the same material. The bezel securely holds a high-grade sapphire crystal. The model boasts 100-meter water-resistance.
The case frames a spectacular dial. It features a multitude of red or yellow elements, which stand out against a black background.
They include counters as well as minute and hour-markers. The structure of the display consists of 6 layers of carbon fiber.
Pointing to the hours, minutes and seconds are white-painted centralized hands. Set within the dial of the new Epic II watch are also 12-hour and 30-minute chronograph counters, located at 3 and 6 o’clock respectively. The date indication appears in a round aperture at 1 o’clock.
The model presented relies on a self-winding mechanical Calibre N°10 movement, manufactured entirely in the brand’s workshops. Paved with 27 jewels, the caliber offers a power reserve of 48 hours. It is also endowed with the Incabloc shock-absorbing system.
The new Jacob & Co watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a black rubber strap, which terminates in a black PVD-coated steel pin buckle.
