Meet Ellicott Majesty Watch

Apr 15, 2010
The horological company Ellicott is delighted to bring forth an elegant Majesty watch reserved specially for men. This spectacular timekeeper is animated by a self-winding mechanical Calibre MG-3 movement, which incorporates a circumferential rotor. With this innovative mechanism, the brand has ushered in a new era of automatic movements.

Dimensionally, the Calibre MG-3 movement is 4.00mm high and 28.00 mm in diameter. It is composed of 253 individual parts and embellished with 31 jewels. The movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The mechanism offers a 70-hour power reserve and brings to life the functions of hours and minutes, running off-centered seconds at 10 o’clock, as well as that of date calendar, revealed at 3 o’clock.

The heart of this enchanting novelty beats inside a softly rounded cushion-shaped case, rendered in 18K pink gold. It is framed by a contrasting bezel, manufactured from tantalum. The watch case reveals a sapphire-crystal back with four polished screws. It is also endowed with a three-position crown. When pushed in, it enables the user to wind the watch. Pulled out halfway, it serves to correct the date. Pulled out all the way, it sets the time.

The Majesty watch from Ellicott features a spectacular black dial. It exposes hour-markers with luminescent coating. Traveling over them are Ellicott “full moon” hands, treated with a luminous compound.

The watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on an alligator leather strap. It terminates in a buckle, crafted from 18K gold and steel. The watch is 30-meter water-resistant.

Created in tribute to King George III, the truly royal Ellicott Majesty watch exudes a powerful and timeless aesthetic appeal. It definitely reflects and interprets desires of a modern man.
