Abingdon Co Delights Women with Elise Watch

Nov 05, 2010
The house of Abingdon Co has proudly announced its Elise watch, a new addition to the acclaimed Lady Abingdon Collection. The presentation took place on November 3, 2010, on the birthday of Chelsea Welch, the brands founder and CEO.

The real strength of the new Abingdon Co watch lies in its ability to display three different time-zones. They are skillfully arranged to ensure a harmonious modern appearance of the model.

The first time zone, a 24-hour Greenwich Mean Time, let the global traveler know what time her flight leaves. The second time zone, that is a 12-hour home time, enables her to call home at the right time. The third time zone, presented on a bi-directional rotating bezel, is a 12-hour local destination time zone.

Featuring genuine mother-of-pearl, the dial of the new Elise watch is completed with luminescent hands. Indicating hours, minutes and seconds, they ensure a perfect level of darkness visibility. The display also exposes a date exhibition window, positioned at 3 oclock. It is shielded by a hardened sapphire crystal, which makes the model resistant to the external shocks.

The dial is embraced by an appealing case, featured in three different versions - 24K Egyptian Gold, 24K Tahitian Two-Tone or Athenian Silver. The measurements of the new Abingdon Co ladys watch are 31mm (3-9h) x 37mm (12-6h), which make it the smallest model, ever offered by the brand.

The timepiece presented is coupled with 14 mm matching bracelet.
