In 2009, Edox, based in the Swiss Jura mountains, celebrates its 125th anniversary by the creation of a new bold diver’s watch - the

The new Edox watch is equipped with a
quartz chronograph movement smartly pivoted through an angle of 180 degrees. It provides the following functions - the chronograph, hours, minutes, seconds and date display.
The
sturdy PVD-coated stainless steel case measures 45 mm in diameter. The left side of the case features control pushers, with an orange epoxy trim, while the right side shows the limited edition number. The case construction incorporates a black unidirectional ceramic bezel and a screw-in crown.

Edox, one of the few independent watchmakers, celebrates its 125th anniversary. To pay tribute to its first marine sports timepieces introduced in the 1960-s, Edox has created a collection named
Grand Ocean. The collection comprises mechanical watches devoted to the maritime world.
The new
Edox Grand Ocean Chronograph Automatic watch features a sporty, decidedly masculine case, 48 mm in diameter, sculptured in hand-polished stainless steel with black and red-gold PVD-coating. The vulcanized rubber strap is attached to the case with help of three signature lugs. The case incorporates a fixed gold-colored PVD notched bezel.
The watch is animated by the
automatic rewind calibre Edox no. 012, highly acclaimed for its reliability. The 25-jewel movement, beating at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, provides a 42-hour power reserve. Besides hours, minutes and seconds, the movement animates a 12-hour chronograph and a date display.

The model provides 100-meter water-resistance. It is accompanied by a rubber strap.
