Ebel has unveiled a new interpretation of the Beluga watch, a true symbol of femininity. The original version of the timepiece was presented in 1985. The new Beluga watches have been created in a choice of stainless steel or 18K gold, and radiate with majestic diamond-setting, enhancing the line's prestige and luxury. Ebel ambassadress Gisele Bundchen will take part in the brand's new advertising campaign coinciding in time with the launch of the new models.

In 2008, Ebel introduces its Discovery Chronograph watch in new variations featuring bold, appealing colors to make one feel the appeal of youthful energy, sportiness, and dynamism. The new Discovery Chronograph watches have a 43mm hexagonal case with a tachymeter bezel crafted in stainless steel. The watches reveal Ebel's meticulous attention to finishing detail. They are equipped with is a self-winding COSC chronometer movement offering day and date displays, as well as a chronograph with 12-hour and 30-minute counters.

The Ebel Discovery Chronograph is created in four new variations. The version with a silver dial and blue tachymeter bezel is the most subtle one. The variation with a red bezel features a black dial. The both versions are complemented by a stainless steel bracelet with sophisticated finishing and fitted with a triple-deployment folding clasp.

The more casual and sporty variation of the Ebel Discovery Chronograph has a black dial united with an orange bezel. The watch goes on a black technofiber strap with orange stitching. On all three variations, the chronograph sub-dial hands are presented in blue, red, or orange to match the major color of the model.

The Ebel Discovery Chronograph has screw-down crown and push-pieces to guarantee 100-meter water resistance. The legibility of the dial is enhanced with an anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal. The dial reveals luminous applications on the hands, hour indices and dial flange.

I recently received a cd-rom from Ebel with the making of their advertisement campaign featuring the top model Gisèle Bündchen – just looking at the photos made me wish I could be like her, have an LA home like her, with an enormous swimming pool, perfect skin and look as good in a bikini - whoops, sorry, I got a little carried away there - I can, however, purchase the same 1911 Chronograph and be a little bit like Gisèle!  read more
