The house of Ebel has released its new 1911 BTR 137 100th Anniversary chronograph watch. As the novelty’s name implies, it pays tribute to the 100-year history of the brand.

The new Ebel watch comes with the choice of two versions: pink gold and stainless steel. Their issue is limited to 100 and 500 pieces respectively. The case measures 45 mm in diameter and is 13.2 mm thick.

At 3 o’clock, it features an impressive screw-locked crown, embossed with the brand’s double E emblem. The crown is joined by two chronograph pushers, covered with a notched protection. The model handles the depth of up to 100 meters.

The novelty is available with a 41mm case, rendered in stainless steel. The new Ebel watch carries the brand’s emblematic bezel, bolted down to the case with six polished screws.

Housed in the case is a milky white dial, adorned with thin vertical lines in the center. It indicates central hours and minutes as well as the date, arranged at 4 o’clock. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 3 o’clock.

On December 3rd, 2009, Ebel Watches Company together with Brown & Co. Jewelers, Atlanta, Georgia, presented an accolade to 2009 US Open quarterfinalist Melanie Oudin to mark her brilliant performance in the tournament. Since 1999, Melanie turned out to be the youngest American quarterfinalist at the Open.

In the course of the festive event, arranged at Brown & Co. Jewelers in Atlanta, this outstanding tennis player was bestowed with a check. Melanie expressed a wish to donate it to the charity organization, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Additionally, Miss Oudin was presented an Ebel Brasilia Watch to recognize her athletic achievements.

The new Discovery Chronograph watches have a 43mm hexagonal case with a tachymeter bezel crafted in stainless steel. The watches reveal Ebel's meticulous attention to finishing detail. They are equipped with is a self-winding COSC chronometer movement offering day and date displays, as well as a chronograph with 12-hour and 30-minute counters.

The Ebel Discovery Chronograph is created in four new variations. The version with a silver dial and blue tachymeter bezel is the most subtle one. The variation with a red bezel features a black dial. The both versions are complemented by a stainless steel bracelet with sophisticated finishing and fitted with a triple-deployment folding clasp.

The more casual and sporty variation of the Ebel Discovery Chronograph has a black dial united with an orange bezel. The watch goes on a black technofiber strap with orange stitching.
