Meet Dior Chiffre Rouge M01 Limited Edition Automatic Watch

May 02, 2011
The house of Dior is pleased to unveil its new Chiffre Rouge M01 limited edition automatic watch. Its classic 1970s exterior design is tastefully united with a cutting-edge movement.

The new Dior watch is proposed with a 39mm round-shaped case, sculptured in stainless steel. Its bezel, which reveals small micro-relief Arabic numerals, is made of black, scratch-resistant ceramic.

A guilloche crown at 4 oclock is a modern looking element in the design of the model. The case is built to be 50-meter water-resistant.

Protecting the top of the case is a high quality sapphire crystal. Its back part is endowed with a black translucent sapphire glass, which protects the movement from dust and sweat.

At the heart of the new Dior Chiffre Rouge M01 limited edition automatic watch is beating a self-winding Dior Inverse movement, made by Zenith. It incorporates an Inversed winding rotor. The power reserve, supplied by the movement, constitutes 40 hours.

The caliber animates the functions of hours, minutes and seconds. Indicated by lume-applied hands, they are clear on a lacquered two-colored dial, accented with red touches.

The new Dior watch is accompanied by a black perforated calfskin leather strap with steel brushed ardillon buckle. It can be also accessorized with a brushed stainless steel bracelet, finalized by an unfolding buckle.
