Meet Archimede DeckWatch

Sep 30, 2010
The Archimede DeckWatch has been inspired by the designs of early timepieces used by officers in the navy and on merchant ships. Initially, at the end of the 19th century, they represented pocket watches and then, starting with around 1910, wristwatches.

The 42mm case of the DeckWatch is sculptured in stainless steel and its surface is finely brushed and polished. You will notice a big crown, featuring the Archimede A. It is meant to provide most comfortable winding.

The elegant classic-style matt silver dial pleases the eye by its clarity. It is completed with Arabic numerals. You will notice a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 oclock. The time is shown by traditional blue hands. The face of the watch is shielded by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.

Another version of the Archimede watch features a black dial completed with luminous numerals and hands.

The timepiece guarantees precision timekeeping, being equipped with a highly-appreciated Swiss-made ETA 6498 hand-wound movement. The inner life of the watch can be admired via a sapphire crystal case-back. The DeckWatch is 50-meter water-resistant.

The Archimede DeckWatch is presented on a black or brown soft calf leather strap.
