De Grisogono Otturatore Watch - Time with Four Faces

Oct 04, 2011
The horological company De Grisogono surprises the audience by launching its new Otturatore watches.

The novelties immediately attract attention with their dials, performed in silver, ruthenium, black or brown. The new De Grisogono watches offer hours, minutes, seconds, a date as well as moon-phase and power reserve indicators. Although each model provides four complications, its architecture, incorporating a rotating window, allows the user to see just one at a time.

The display of each item consists of three parts and is embellished with Clou de Paris pattern. It is equipped with applied hour-markers and Dauphine-styled hands in 18K rose or white gold.

The dial is enclosed in an 18K rose or white gold case. It features the dimensions of 50.16mm x 44.85mm x 15.86mm: height, width and thickness indicated respectively. Both top and bottom of the model are fitted with sapphire crystals.

On the side of every new De Grisogono Otturatore watch the user can see massive pushers, which serve to move the dial window around. The timepiece provides 50-meter water-resistance.

Hidden inside the case is a self-winding DR 19-89 caliber movement. It is composed of 574 individual parts, including 28 jewels. The caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 42-hour power reserve.

The new De Grisogono watches are teamed with genuine alligator leather straps. Each piece joins to a folding clasp in 18K rose or white gold.
