Ticking inside the Claude Meylan watch is the self-winding Valjoux 1323 column-wheel chronograph movement, entirely engraved by hand. Apart from the basic functions of indicating the hours and minutes, the watch also displays the seconds and chronograph functions.

The watch case measures 38 mm in diameter and is sculptured in 18K pink gold. Embellished with diamonds, it is armed with sapphire crystals both on the case-back and the dial side.

The case embraces a skeletonized, hand-engraved dial, rendered in pink gold. The dial is completed with a 30-minute sub-dial, located at 3 oclock and a small seconds counter, nestled at 9 oclock.

The Dans l'Air du Temps watch from Claude Meylan, reviewed by, is mounted on a crocodile leather strap, fitted with an 18K pink gold buckle. The watch has been launched as a limited series of 50 pieces.
