Rado Presents D-Star Basel Special Watch

Mar 17, 2011
Rado unveils its new D-Star Basel Special 2011 watch.

The sporty timepiece pays tribute to the first scratch-resistant wristwatch in the horology world - the DiaStar. The novelty is created to provide utmost accuracy.

The new Rado watch is a successful union of high-tech ceramics and rubber. The high-tech material has been used for the watchs faceted ellipse case and for the clasp. The case is presented on a black matt rubber bracelet finely integrated to the structured case. The case construction demonstrates the top-quality finishing.

The Rado D-Star Basel Special watch is animated by an unusually thin chronograph automatic movement. The tachymeter scale is featured on the rim of the dial.

The dial is characterized by supreme clarity. It is completed with three counters, a date window, triangular indexes, white skeleton hands and a red seconds hand. For perfect visibility the dial indications are enhanced with Superluminova.

The highly-appealing timepiece will be available in a limited number of 1111 pieces.
