Cecil Purnell Presents CP 3888 Tourbillon Watch

Dec 28, 2010
The house of Cecil Purnell is excited to introduce its new CP 3888 Tourbillon watch into the challenging timepiece market. The model epitomizes a beautiful marriage of artistic virtuosity and the finest mastery in Swiss watchmaking.

The new Cecil Purnell watch is available with an alluring gold case. It exudes a timeless aesthetic appeal, to a considerable extent acquired due to the finest “peaufinee” finishes.

The case is fitted with a protected winding crown, positioned at 3 o’clock. Its architecture also includes elegant lugs and a refined bezel, fitted with a sapphire ring.

The dial of the new CP 3888 Tourbillon watch reveals enchanting details of the mechanical movement. Composed of 189 individual parts, it stands 6.75 mm in height and has a diameter of 30.6 mm.

The power reserve, offered by the caliber CP 3888, constitutes 60 hours. Linked to the movement is a tourbillon mechanism, which can be admired at 6 o’clock.

The display comprises triangle-shaped suspended hour-markers, joined by black-painted minute track. The index at 12 o’clock gives way to the brand’s logo. Taking care of hours and minutes are centralized hands. They are supported by the bridges, graced with Cotes de Geneve finish. In the upper part of the watch face resides a cartridge, engraved with the company’s name.

The new Cecil Purnell watch is delivered on a black leather strap, embellished with white stiching.
