Corum Sophisticated Watches Dressed in Black

Oct 16, 2009
Corum presents two new timepieces that demonstrate a sober all-black coating that makes them perfect timekeeping companions even for the most festive event. Both watches are crafted in titanium.

The Corum Black Ti-Bridge watch has a movement and case in titanium, an ultra-modern material characterized by remarkable lightness, yet quite difficult for machining. The dimensions of the case are 42.5 x 41.5mm. The top of the case demonstrates a polished finish and two sand-blasted grooves. The fluted crown, also in titanium, is adorned with satin and polished finishes and the Corum key symbol.

The watch is animated by the Caliber CO 007, with titanium bridges and plate. The movement boasts supreme finishing. The upper bridge features a black PVD-coating and the “Corum” logo engraving. The bridges are decorated with supreme satin-finishing, while the over-sized barrel boasts a snailed finish.

Caliber CO 007, with a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers 72 hours of power reserve. One more detail worth mentioning is Corum’s unique way of attaching the movement to the case - four triangles, also with black PVD, have replaced the casing clamps.

The dial is shielded by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The baton hands for hours and minutes are provided with black Superluminova coating.

An owner of the Corum Black Ti-Bridge watch will enjoy perfect comfort of wearing due to the curved tonneau shape of the dark monochrome watch case. The case is coupled with a black rubber strap with a triple folding clasp. The satin-finished case-back has a sapphire window.

The timepiece is 50-meter water-resistant.

The Corum Black Ti-Bridge watch, boasting a technically exceptional nature, will be available in a limited number of just 250 pieces.

The Corum Golden Bridge Black Titanium watch, one more titanium model with a PVD-coating, joins the brand’s iconic Golden Bridge collection. The case, reflecting an extremely delicate nature, being cut from transparent sapphire crystal, has acquired the strength of titanium.

The titanium case, characterized by remarkable modernity and technicality, houses the authentic baguette movement, Caliber CO113, characterized by exceptional classicism and finesse.

The Corum watchmakers opted for titanium Grade 5 for the production of the case as this grade provides a variety of polishing designs, meanwhile being the most difficult for manufacturing. The case measures 34 x 51mm in diameter. The fluted titanium crown, positioned at 6 o’clock, is adorned with the signature Corum key.

The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The time is shown by black skeleton baton hands.

The Golden Bridge Black Titanium watch is a perfect reflection of the talent and high precision skills of the watchmaking artisans that gave birth to the manual winding linear movement that offers 40 hours of power reserve.

The deep black satin-finished watch case is a perfect setting of the iconic hand-engraved movement with its golden reflections. The movement’s mainplate and bridges are sculptured in 18K gold and have two black openworked hour and minute hands at the top.

The timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant. It is presented on a black hand-stitched crocodile leather strap. In addition, it goes with a second brown crocodile strap with a titanium tongue buckle.

Uniting modern and authentic spirit, the Corum Golden Bridge Black Titanium watch will be available in a limited number of 138 pieces.
