Alive with dynamic energy, the new Corum watch boasts a 47mm twelve-sided case, crafted from 18kt red gold 5N. It is submersible to 50 meters. The top of the model is covered by a cambered twelve-sided sapphire crystal with glare-proofed treatment.
The charcoal dial is adorned with a Clous-de-Paris motif. On the flange, one can see 12 monochrome nautical pennant hour-markers. The dial also features applique chevrons and minute numerals in gold 5N.
The display of the new Corum Admiral’s Cup Seafender 47 Tourbillon GMT watch ensures central hours and minutes, indicated by faceted skeleton Superluminova-enhanced baton hands.
A special eye-catcher of the dial is the tourbillon cage, placed at 11 o’clock. Additionally, the display offers a date counter at 3 o’clock and a day/night indicator at 7.30. The second time zone is found at 6 o’clock. The faceted counter hands are also inlaid with Superluminova.
Inside the model is hidden a self-winding CO397 movement. It demonstrates a special Corum finish with “turbine” design motifs on the plate and open-worked oscillating weight. Set with 28 jewels, the movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 50-hour power reserve.
Keeping the new Corum watch secured to the wearer’s wrist is a black crocodile leather strap. It is finalized by an 18kt red gold 5N tongue buckle, engraved with the brand’s logo.
