The sportiness of the novelty coordinates perfectly with its supreme elegance. The new Corum watch boasts a 40mm 18kt red gold case. The winding crown at 3 o’clock is engraved with the Corum key and fitted with a vulcanized protector. The case carries a vulcanized rubber bezel, highlighted by the sparkle of 66 diamonds, totaling to 0.924 carats.
The top of the case is covered by a cambered twelve-sided sapphire crystal with glare-proofed treatment. The model is also equipped with a screwed open back part. The case is submersible to 50 meters.
The new Corum Admiral’s Cup Challenger 40 Chrono Diamonds watch is adorned with a white or black dial. It features a flange, marked with 12 nautical pennant hour-markers. The display comprises 8 diamonds, red gold facetted hour and minute hands, inlaid with Superluminova, and a red gold central chronograph seconds hand with a counterweight shaped like a key.
Set within the dial are also smalls seconds, 12-hour and 30-minute counters, located at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock respectively. All the sub-dials are done in mother-of-pearl. The red gold hands are applied with Superluminova. The date indication appears in the aperture at 4.30.
The timekeeper is powered by a self-winding mechanical COSC-certified CO984 chronograph movement with a special Corum finish. It incorporates an oscillating weight, engraved with the brand’s name.
Paved with 37 jewels, the mechanism beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 42-hour power reserve.
The new Corum lady’s watch is mounted on a genuine black or white crocodile leather strap. Both versions terminate in an 18kt red gold tongue buckle, embossed with the Corum logo.
