The new Corum watch is set in a 45mm twelve-sided case. It demonstrates satin-finished surfaces and polished horns.
Titanium is also employed in manufacturing of the model’s polished satin-finished 12-sided bezel, crown and crown protector. The crown is engraved with the Corum key. The case is also equipped with a titanium 4-screw open back cover, inlaid with anti-reflective coating.
The top of the case is covered by a cambered twelve-sided sapphire crystal with glare-proofed treatment. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 30 meters.
Hidden inside the new Corum Admiral’s Cup 45 Minute Repeater Tourbillon titanium watch is a hand-wound CO 010 movement, equipped with the minute repeater and tourbillon mechanisms. The tourbillon escapement and pallets are made of silicium.
The decorative elements of the movement include a special Corum high-end finish as well as a Cotes-de-Geneve finish on the bottom bridges. Paved with 29 jewels, it runs at the rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides a 100-hour power reserve.
Apart from the minute repeater function, activated by rotating the bezel, the caliber animates hours and minutes. Taking care of them are rhodium-plated faceted hands, highlighted by white Superluminova. The grey PVD-treated sapphire crystal dial is also completed with Arabic numerals, rhodium-coated minute chevrons and monochrome nautical pennants, serving as hour-markers on the black flange. The tourbillon mechanism is featured in an opening at 5 o’clock.
The new Corum watch is teamed with a black crocodile leather strap. It is secured to the wearer’s wrist by means of a titanium tongue buckle, engraved with the Corum logo. The model is issued in a limited edition of 15 pieces.
