Meet Omega Constellation Double Eagle Co-Axial 4-Counters Watch

Mar 25, 2010
The Constellation Double Eagle collection was born as a result of Omegaís close association with the Royal and Ancient Game of golf.

This year, this famous line has been joined by the companyís new model, named Constellation Double Eagle Co-Axial 4-Counters. Durable as it is, this stylish Omega watch features a screw-in stainless steel case, capable of withstanding water pressures down to 100 meters.

Most accurate timekeeping is ensured by the manufactory-made Co-Axial calibre 3890 movement, officially certified as chronometer. The self-winding chronograph 33-jewel movement is equipped with the Co-Axial escapement and the brandís proprietary free sprung-balance, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The power reserve of the watch constitutes 52 hours.

The Constellation Double Eagle watch boasts a perfectly balanced display. Similar to other models from this collection, the novel timepiece is adorned with a sporty dial, performed in matt black. The dial is completed with a small seconds counter, a seven-day counter, a 12-hour counter and a 30-minute counter. The day of the week is indicated in an aperture, positioned just above the centre.

The display also reveals a date aperture at 6 o clock, applied Omega symbol and name, as well as 18 Ct white gold facetted hour markers. Traveling over them are facetted and truncated Dauphine hands. All the elements are manufactured with love for detail close to perfection.

The dial is framed by a black aluminum bezel ring featuring Arabic numerals. The case, 44mm in diameter, incorporates the black rubber-coated crown and pushers, with the crown catching the glance by its red logo and pushers embellished with vertical stripes.

The dial is shielded by a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a double-sided anti-glare coating. The brandís specialists have also fitted the Omega watch with a screw-in transparent sapphire crystal case-back, which provides a fascinating insight into Omegaís innovative movement.

The Omega Constellation Double Eagle Co-Axial 4-Counters watch is secured to the wearerís wrist on an integrated black rubber strap, finished with a satin-brushed stainless steel fold-over clasp.
