Concord C1 Big Date Radar Watch - Remarkably Strong Character
Concord presents its new bold timepiece - the C1 Big Date Radar watch. The Concord novelty is characterized by innovative design and sophisticated technology.

The robust case construction of the watch is presented in black PVD-treated stainless steel. The bezel catches the glance by eight black rubber-clad protective tabs, fitted by side screws like a kind of a rampart. The dial is shielded by a 3.3-mm thick sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

The black dial demonstrates a bold play on contrasts and depth effects, being completed with raised hour-markers providing utmost readability. The minutes hand glides under 3D hour-markers coated with Superluminova reminding landing strip lights.

Other details on the dial are also Superluminova-coated, including the date presented via a hollowed double window positioned at 12 o’clock, and the triangular tip of the small seconds disc that rotates at 6 o’clock.

The see-through case-back allows to drop a glance at the watch’s automatic mechanical movement beating inside. The COSC-certified caliber 3532 La Joux-Perret, built with 26 jewels and operating at a frequency of 28, 800 vibrations per hour, gives an advantage of a 44-hour power reserve. Its rotor is decorated with a vertical ribbed Cotes-de-Geneve motif.

The bold look of the Concord C1 Big Date Radar watch is further enhanced by a khaki-colored technofiber strap. It is equipped with a Concord deployment buckle in black PVD-treated stainless steel.

The timepiece is 200-meter water-resistant. It is expected to be available at the price of 8, 900 CHF.

Concord Introduces Its C1 Biretrograde Watch
Concord has recently introduced a double retrograde complication, combining the date and the day of the week. The C1 Biretrograde model, animated by a Concord C101 self-winding movement, is crafted in either platinum or rose-gold.

Protected by a 3.3 mm thick sapphire crystal, the skeletonized dial exposes a high-tech multi-layered design. A chapter ring is located below, somewhat off-center to ensure space for two retrograde displays, the Concord Bi-Retrograde comprises. The first display indicates the date and the second one shows the day.

Not that innovative, able, however, to present an exotic appearance, both "bi-retrograde" and "tri-retrograde" displays have become very fashionable lately. The lower left of the dial showcases an arc with the days of the week displayed. In the lower right of the dial there is an arc with the dates of the week listed.

The case measures 44mm in diameter and 14.6 mm in depth and it is a 50-meter submersible.

Similar to most timepieces, the hours and minutes in this model are placed in the center of the dial. The seconds function, however, is no longer available. The markers and hands demonstrate bold applications of Superluminova compound for robust low-light visibility.

The watch is accompanied by the black vulcanized rubber strap fitted with a folding clasp crafted in 18k gold.

The movement embellishment is another special feature that moves this timepiece to the front of the grid. The transparent dial opens to view the Cotes de Geneve, circular graining and black PVD coatings.
