In 2010, Longines unveils new versions of its Column-Wheel Chronograph watch. The timepiece is available in both a classic and sporty style. The case of the new Longines watch measures 39 mm in diameter and is crafted from stainless steel or pink gold. It incorporates a sapphire crystal front and back and offers water-resistance down to 30 meters.
The elegant silvered dial is completed with rhodium-plated or pink applique hour-markers coated with Superluminova to guarantee utmost readability under reduced light conditions. The time is indicated by rhodium-plated or pink dauphine hands, also coated with Superluminova.
The watch is animated by an exclusive automatic column-wheel chronograph movement - L688.2 Calibre, premiered in 2009. Specifically for Longines, ETA developed this movement to guarantee a supreme degree of reliability and user comfort. The 27-jewel movement, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, gives an advantage of a 54-hour power reserve. It animates the following functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph.
The Longines Column-Wheel Chronograph watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a brown alligator strap.
