Oris Presents Col Moschin Limited Edition Watch

Feb 26, 2010
The new Col Moschin Limited Edition watch from Oris is expected to be unveiled at Baselworld 2010. This military watch will surely impress the audience with its massive 49 mm case. At the same time, the watch is rather light, which is attainable due to titanium employed in its manufacturing.

The Oris new brainchild has been tested by the Col Moschin Italian Special Forces. This timekeeping instrument has been used by the elite troops in the course of their parachute jumps from 9,000 meters and their dives to 40 meters.

The Oris watch has successfully passed all the tests thanks to its unique characteristics: the anti-magnetic properties, which ensure precision in the air, and its remarkable water-resistance, assured down to 1,000 meters. Under water, the additional level of the watchs security is provided by the patented "Rotation Safety System". Its total resistance under all circumstances is ensured by the titanium case fitted with a tungsten ring.

The case of the Col Moschin Limited Edition watch is endowed with a screw-down crown and the crown shield. On its front side it exposes a convex sapphire crystal with internal anti-glare treatment.

The case frames a dial presented in black. It features applique hour-markers and hands, coated with Superluminova BG W9 compound. The power reserve indicator, performed in Italian colors, is positioned at 7 oclock.

The Oris Col Moschin Limited Edition watch is accompanied by an extendible black rubber strap, equipped with a safety clasp.
