Welcome New Baume & Mercier Clifton 1830 Watch

Nov 22, 2012
Baume & Mercier introduces its new Clifton 1830 watch. The novelty, crafted in 18K red gold, is animated by a manually-wound movement. It has been created to establish a close bond with its owner.

The new Baume & Mercier watch is simple and refined. It demonstrates elegant curves and straight lines, finely merging into the wrist. The model wins the heart by it nicely balanced classic design. Its 42 mm case has been sculptured from an ingot of 18K red gold. It demonstrates polished and satin finishing. The dial of the watch is curved, matching the shape of the domed sapphire crystal.

The meticulously crafted dial is silvered opaline. The small seconds counter is positioned at 6 oclock. The dial is graced with individually applied gilt numerals and indices.

The heart of the timepiece is a Manufacture, manual-winding mechanical movement adapted for the brand by the La Joux-Perret Manufacture. The exceptional 21-jewel movement, ref 7381, with the balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, provides 90 hours of power reserve after the watchs owner has fully rewound its barrels.

One can admire the beauty of the mechanism via the see-through case-back. The movement demonstrates the Cotes-de-Geneve decorated bridges, the circular-grained bottom plate and the finely blued steel screws.

The timepiece is 50-meter water-resistant.

The new Baume & Mercier Clifton 1830 watch is mounted on a premium black alligator strap fitted with an 18K red gold pin buckle.
