Claude Meylan Dentelle Watch - Incredible Aura of Refinement

Feb 17, 2011
Capturing the mystery of time is every watchmaker’s pursuit. Claude Meylan meets this challenge with the arrival of the new Dentelle watch.

A blend of aesthetic charm and technical sophistication, the elegant timepiece is embodied in a 316L steel case. The new Claude Meylan watch boasts a diameter of 35 mm. It is 30-meter water-resistant.

The body of the timepiece is topped by a refined bezel, enhanced with 198 VVS diamonds. The overall weight of dazzling jewels comes to 0.51 carats.

The bezel cohabits harmoniously with graceful lugs and a delicate winding crown, traditionally nestled at 3 o’clock.

Both top and bottom of the new Claude Meylan Dentelle watch is endowed with high-grade sapphire crystals. The front glass serves to protect the open-worked nature of the bewitching dial.

It provides a fascinating insight into the details of the self-winding ETA 2892 movement. Engraved by hand, it boasts 21 jewels. The mechanism operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 42-hour power reserve.

The movement brings to life the basic functions of hours, minutes and seconds. Pointing to them are exquisite central hands, crafted from steel.

A seamless white satin strap, which joins to a steel pin buckle, sets the final touch to the aura of refinement, generously exuded by the new Claude Meylan watch.
