Ebel Creates Classic Hexagon Chronograph FC BAYERN MUNICH

Aug 18, 2009
The Ebel watch line is joined by a new exclusive timepiece created at the request of the internationally famous German club, the four-time European champions - FC Bayern Munich. The new watch, the Classic Hexagon Chronograph “FC BAYERN MUNICH”, symbolizes a fine union between the worlds of luxurious watchmaking and elite professional football.

The Ebel Classic Hexagon Chronograph “FC Bayern Munich” watch reflects the signature masculine features of the Hexagon Chronograph. The watch boasts an eye-pleasing galvanic chocolate brown dial and the hand-stitched brown alligator leather strap making one feel its extreme modernity. The dial is completed with 11 hand-applied hour-markers and facetted diamond-polished hands. You will notice a large double aperture for the date function at 12 o’clock.

The zest of the dial is an “FC Bayern” inscription and the lozenge-shaped motif inspired by the club logo.

The stainless steel case of the Ebel watch, with alternating brushed and polished finishing, measures 48.3mm in diameter. The push-buttons demonstrate polished finishing. The timepiece is 50-meter water-resistant. The dial is shielded by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides to guarantee perfect readability.

The watch offers precision timekeeping as it is animated by a Swiss automatic chronograph movement - Dubois-Depraz 4500. The comfortable strap of the timepiece is fitted with a folding clasp.

The Ebel Classic Hexagon Chronograph “FC Bayern Munich” watch, to be available in a limited edition of 250 pieces, is sure to enjoy great success among fans of fine watches and FC Bayern Munich.
