Milus Cirina Watches - Reflection of Lady's Multifaceted Personality

Nov 10, 2010
The watchmaking house of Milus has delivered its enthralling Cirina collection, created in perfect keeping with a lady's multifaceted personality.

The name of the collection stems from that of Circinus, a small constellation in the southern sky, first defined in the 18th century. “Circinus” means compass, when translated from Latin.

The watches, included into the line, capture attention with their curved outlines, soft colors and delicate embellishment. Of special note is an exquisite floral motif, featured on the dial of every version. It unmistakably recalls the awakening of the nature in spring. Brought together, all these features turn each item into a matchless work of art.

As the name of the new Cirina Diamonds lady’s watch suggests, it dazzles female customers with subtle streams of incredible brilliant-cut diamonds, artfully set in a bezel. The similar jewels embellish the inner and outer surrounds of the model. The total weight of diamonds comes to 1.87 carats.

The bezel tenderly embraces a curved lacquered dial. The outer part of the display is adorned with refined arabesques, while its middle section represents a glossy finished area. The brand’s logo is revealed in the upper part of the middle area.

The dial is completed with gold-colored applied hour-markers and large Arabic numerals, featured at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. Gliding over them are central hands, which indicate hours and minutes. Animating the basic functions is a Swiss-made high-quality quartz movement.

The caliber is housed in a tonneau-shaped case, crafted from polished and brushed 18-carat pink gold 4N. It is equipped with a screwed-down back and a front domed sapphire glass. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 3 atm.

The final touch is provided by an alligator leather strap, closed with a clasp in 18-carat pink gold 4N.

The new Cirina Stainless Steel watch represents a seamless marriage of extreme elegance and sport chic. It is set in a curved case, sculptured in polished and brushed stainless steel. The case features a top domed sapphire crystal and a screwed-down back. The water-resistance of the model is ensured down to 3 atm.

The timepiece shows off a curved lacquered dial, fully decorated with refined arabesques. The time, indicated on the display, is reduced to the essentials: hours and minutes. Pointing to them are centralized noble hands, which glide over silver-colored applied hour-markers and four oversized Arabic numerals. The brand’s logo resides beneath the Arabic number at 12 o’clock position.

Inside the new Milus watch is beating a Swiss-made quartz movement. The model is teamed with a stainless steel bracelet, enhanced with a folding clasp. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a strap, crafted from alligator leather or satin optic material, which fits perfectly to the dial. Both versions terminate in a stainless steel buckle.

The last, but not the least model, presented within the new Milus collection is a Cirina Haute Joaillerie watch. It has adopted a convex case, manufactured from polished and brushed 18-carat white gold. The case carries a graceful bezel, breathtakingly inset with white brilliant-cut diamonds. The inner and outer surrounds, meanwhile, are paved with white baguette-cut diamonds. The total weight of the gems is equal to 1.98 carats.

On its front side, the case is armed with a domed sapphire crystal. The company’s craftsmen have also equipped the timepiece with a screwed-down case back. It handles depths of up 3 atm.

The case is complimented by a curved lacquered dial. Performed in white or black/anthracite, it boasts an outer area, embellished with delicate arabesques. Its middle part, embossed with the brand’s logo, features a glossy finished surface.

The display comprises silver-colored applied hour-markers, Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock and central hands to indicate hours and minutes. Giving life to these functions is a Swiss-made quartz movement.

Completing this jewellery watch is a white or black alligator leather strap, finalized by an 18-carat white gold buckle. It can be also accessorized with an 18-carat white gold bracelet. It is fitted with a folding clasp, crafted from the same material. The straps and bracelets can be plain or fully set with brilliant-cut diamonds with a total of 4.66 carats.

With its supreme elegance, offbeat design and modern technology, each new Milus watch constitutes a perfect equipment for refined, yet strong woman of today.
