Nov 27, 2009
Founded by the chronograph master Gerd R. Lang in 1983, the illustrious watchmaking house Chronoswiss has been heartily welcomed by the United States.

On November 9th, the city of New York witnessed the brand inaugurating its first American boutique. The latter can be found in the famous SoHo district at 339 West Broadway. The flagship store demonstrates the character, cast in a style, which echoes that of Chronoswiss watches.

The boutique stands out due to both its exterior and interior, made of unpainted red brick. The stores distinctive flair is presented by large glass windows, which duplicate the exhibition back of Chronoswiss watches and catch attention of admirers of hand-crafted mechanical timepieces. Above the entrance to the boutique there is an impressive picture of the iconic Lunar Chronograph watch, one of the most sought-after products from Chronoswiss.

In order to create the special feel and atmosphere in its New York store, this watch company invited Kristen Farrell, a highly-qualified jewelry designer and goldsmith. Guests of the boutique will be offered a perfect opportunity to encounter a selection of Chronoswiss watches, displayed in special wood cabinet with natural finish. The timepieces to be exhibited range from sporty editions such as the Timemaster series to the iconic references like the popular Delphis watch, which features the functions of jumping hour and retrograde minutes.

According to Hartmut Kraft, President of Chronoswiss North America, the brand is proud to have built a special bond in the relationship with its authorized retail partners. He also added that opening the Manhattan store would definitely consolidate the retail position of the company.

The opening ceremony of the Chronoswiss boutique is scheduled for December 2nd. This festive event will see the attendance of VIPs, avid members of the watch collector community along with other friends and partners of the watch-making house. The ceremony will start at 7 7:00 PM and will last four hours.

The store welcomes the customers from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6:00 PM on Sunday.

Mr. Kraft emphasized that there couldnt be better timing for the boutique to open its doors. During a holiday season the city of New York represents a perfect market for shopping.
