A perfect device for measurement of brief intervals of time, the company’s novel brainchild offers all the hallmarks of the series mentioned. At the same time, it demonstrates sporty design features, backed by technical advances.
The new Montblanc watch employs a pink gold case, measuring 43.5 mm in diameter. Its thickness constitutes 12.5 mm. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 30 meters.
Ticking inside the timepiece is a manufactory-made hand-wound mechanical movement, graced with Haute Horlogerie finish. It operates at a frequency of 18, 000 variations per hour and provides a 55-hour power reserve.
This mechanism serves to animate a useful set of functions, presented on a white grand feu enamel dial. The display of the new Chronographe Vintage watch comprises a telemeter scale, featured on its periphery. The central part of the dial, meanwhile, is reserved for a tachymeter scale, which coils like a snail’s shell.
The dial is completed with black Arabic numerals. The progression of hours and minutes is marked by centralized blued hands. They are supported by a thin seconds hand, clothed in red. To ensure the symmetry of the display, the chronograph counters reside at 3 and 9 o’clock.
Offered in a limited series of just 58 pieces, the new Montblanc watch comes fitted with a brown alligator leather strap, which terminates in a pin buckle.
