Tag Heuer Presents Monaco Calibre 12 Chronograph Automobile Club de Monaco Black Edition Watch

Jun 21, 2013
Tag Heuer introduces its new Monaco Calibre 12 Chronograph Automobile Club de Monaco Black Edition watch. The novelty is devoted to the brand’s continuous partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM).

The square-shaped case of the new TAG Heuer watch measures 39mm in diameter and is rendered in steel. Its surface is PVD -coated to make the watch acquire its bold black look. The polished and fine brushed steel pushers create a distinctive contrast with the black surface of the case.

The heart of the model is the brand’s automatic mechanical chronograph movement - Caliber 12 based on ETA 2892 with DD chrono module. With the balance frequency of 28, 800 vibrations per hour, the 59-ruby mechanism gives an advantage of a 40-hour power-reserve. The smoked sapphire case-back reveals the ACM logo.

The dial is graced with luminescent hand-applied hands and indexes to guarantee perfect visibility under any light conditions. The square small seconds and chronograph minutes sub-dials are positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. The small date window is found at 6 o’clock.

The Monaco AMC watch is teamed with a black perforated leather strap featuring orange “sahara” lining and equipped with a steel folding clasp.

Tag Heuer officially announced its Monaco Calibre 12 Chronograph Automobile Club de Monaco Black Edition watch, limited to 225 pieces, at the Monaco Grand Prix held on May 26.

The novelty is available worldwide exclusively in the brand’s boutiques at the price of $ 8,200.
