Christopher Ward gladly offers its new C700 Grand Rapide Chronograph watch, designed in the UK and assembled by hand in the brand’s workshops in Switzerland.
The new Christopher Ward watch captures attention by its carbon fiber dial. It employs the same supreme material, used in the aerospace industry and the Formula 1 competition.
Endowed with a polished chequered design, the display ensures central hours, minutes and seconds. The chronograph features are presented through a 30-minute sub-dial at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock as well as a 60-second counter at 9 o’clock. With its guilloche pattern, the latter is inspired by a rev counter design.
The day and date indications are arranged in exhibition windows at 3 o’clock. On the extremity of the dial there is a tachymeter scale. The hands are inlaid with Superluminova compound to make the dial readable when light becomes darkness.
Protecting the face of the new Christopher Ward C700 Grand Rapide Chronograph watch is a convex sapphire crystal with glare-proofed coating. The sapphire glass is also utilized for the case-back, which permits a glance into the Swiss made automatic Sellita SW500 movement.
The caliber is safely hidden inside a hand-polished surgical grade stainless steel case. It is equipped with a screw-in crown. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 50 meters.
The new Christopher Ward watch is mounted on a stainless steel bracelet. It can be also coupled with a leather or rubber strap. All the versions terminate in an adjustable quick-release butterfly clasp.
