The new timepiece has been inspired by the
Mille Miglia model that was
introduced in the 1990s and enjoyed tremendous success. It was destined to become the first ever timepiece in the collection to be presented on the one-of-the-kind natural rubber strap the design of which was suggested by the 1960s Dunlop Racing tire.
The

The timepieces, created to benefit the
Elton John AIDS Foundation reflect the artist’s charismatic personality, and in particular his innate sense of extravagance, generosity and love for fine watches and jewelry. A percentage of the profits from the sale of the new collection will be donated to support the fight against AIDS.
The Elton John chronograph watches are animated by a

The first drawings of the
latest Chopard Elton John Watch Collection, designed by
Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Chopard Co-President and the Artistic Director, will be used to benefit The Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The new Chopard chronograph models will be created in
rose or white gold. The timepieces will be set with different combinations of
precious stones - diamond baguettes, pink, yellow, black or chocolate diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires.
The
Chopard watches will be coupled with pink, blue, yellow, green, red, or black bracelets.
The watches will be available in limited edition series. Every timepiece will demonstrate an
engraving of Elton John's signature on the case back.
The launch of the new Chopard Elton John watches will take place in Moscow on December 7. It will be marked by a private
Elton John concert.

The ring reflects the spirit of Hard Candy describes by Madonna as "a juxtaposition of tough and sweetness." The jewelry item spells out the star hip-hop pseudonym, "M-dolla," in 258 brilliant-cut white diamonds. A Chopard signature mobile diamond is revealed in the flourish of the letter M.
Chopard has already created jewelry for Madonna's 2005 Confessions on a Dance Floor album - the unique pave diamond "Hung-Up" necklace. Hard Candy is set to be released on April 28.
