Chopard Introduces L.U.C. Quattro Watch

May 19, 2011
Chopard is delighted to offer its new L.U.C. Quattro hand-wound wrist watch, which encapsulates the mastery of the brands craftsmen.

The new Chopard watch is proposed with a 43 mm round-shaped case. It is sculptured in 18-carat rose gold. The model sports a bezel, produced from the same material.

The case is built to be 50-meter water-resistant. On the top it is assembled with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The same glass is utilized for the bottom. The transparent case-back affords an interesting insight into a Swiss made in-house hand-wound caliber 1.98 movement.

The mechanism incorporates 39 jewels and runs at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It is also embellished with Cotes de Geneva stripes and Poincon de Geneve Hallmark pattern. Integrated within the movement are four spring barrels, which deliver an impressive 216-hour power reserve.

The caliber drives an array of functions, revealed on a silvered dial.

The face of the new Chopard L.U.C. Quattro watch is completed with Roman numerals and gold-toned Dauphine fusee-type central hands, pointing to hours and minutes. The small seconds tick away in a 6 oclock counter, which is allied with a date display. The power reserve indicator is exhibited at 12 oclock.

The new Chopard watch is teamed with a brown hand-sewn alligator leather strap. It is finalized by a pin buckle in 18-carat rose gold.
