Chopard L.U.C Chrono One Flyback - Three Innovations in One

Following the successful presentation of a pre-series in 2006, the L.U.C Chrono One Flyback is now joining the Chopard Manufacture collections. The watch, boasting the meticulous finishing of the case and dial, is a majestic union of classical refinement and dynamic sportsmanship.

The 42 mm case of the L.U.C Chrono One Flyback is crafted in 18K white or rose gold. The case construction has incorporated a sapphire glass with multi-layer glare-proofing on both sides, transparent case-back, shaped pushers and a crown with the L.U.C logo. It is 30-meter water-resistant.

The sunburst charcoal grey dial is characterized by absolute clarity. It shows off two oversized hour and minute counters, at 9 and 3 o'clock respectively, that are a little offset from the crown axis. The small seconds counter is found at 6 o'clock. The dial is completed with slender, hollowed hour and minute hands, characteristic of the Chopard L.U.C collection. The hands are are Superluminova-coated for pefect readability in the dark.

The Chopard L.U.C Chrono One Flyback is equipped with an exceptional in-house movement. The L.U.C Calibre 11 CF is an integrated chronograph movement. It has incorporated a column wheel, a distinctive characteristic of the best chronographs, and a flyback function. The movement is based on three innovative systems, all to be patented by the brand.

The reset function operates by means of a lever that pivots three supple hammers, to guarantee optimal return of the counter hands and also cushions the reset action.

The L.U.C Calibre 11 CF also comprizes a 'small seconds reset' function united with a movement stop feature to allow most precise time-setting.

Finally, the self-winding mechanism winds in both directions. It incorporates a unidirectional gear device. The system avoids energy wastes and provides optimal winding speed via the gold oscillating weight.

The movement provides a 60-hour power reserve. Its precision is guaranteed by the COSC-chronometer certification.

The Chopard L.U.C Chrono One Flyback watch is secured to the wrist with a black or brown alligator leather strap fitted with a white or rose gold folding clasp.
