New Chopard L.U.C. 8HF Watch - Great Precision

Those interested in modern-day technologies, will surely appreciate the new Chopard L.U.C. 8HF watch - an experimental high-frequency model unveiled by the brand this year. The novelty, which boasts the frequency rate of 8Hz, was born in the brand’s manufacture in Fleurier, Switzerland. It is limited to 100 pieces.

If compared to a standard self-winding movement, operating at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vph), the L.U.C 01.06-L operates at a frequency of 8Hz (57,600 vph). High frequency improves the precision of a calibre, particularly when referred to its rate resumption and stability. The precision of the movement was crowned by the COSC chronometer certification.

The 42 mm case of the new Chopard watch is rendered in titanium. The face of the model is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-glare treatment. The titanium case-back features a magnified window that allows to drop a glance at the high-frequency escapement.

The black small seconds counter with a distinctively red hand stands out against the silver-grained background of the dial. The time is indicated by rhodiumed hour and minute hands. You will notice the date window at 5.30.

The high-frequency 31-jewel heart of the timaepiece offers a 60-hour power reserve. Its bridges are adorned with Cotes de Geneve.

The new Chopard L.U.C. 8HF watch is presented on a hand-sewn matte black alligator leather strap fitted with a titanium pin buckle.
