The new Chopard L.U.C XPS is distinguished from its predecessors by a sapphire crystal case-back revealing the beauty of the movement, and a small seconds display positioned at 6 o’clock.The ultra-thin case of the Chopard L.U.C XPS watch is crafted from 18K white or rose gold and measures 39.50mm in diameter. It was a real challenge for Chopard watchmakers to accommodate a self-winding twin-barrel movement inside the slim case. It was accomplished with help of a smart construction with a micro rotor.
The L.U.C 12.96 movement, revealed through a sapphire crystal case-back, demonstrates the bridges adorned with a straight Cotes-de-Geneve motif. The precision of the fine movement is crowned by the COSC-chronometer certification. The movement gives an advantage of a 65-hour power-reserve.
The white gold version features a black dial completed with rhodium-plated hour-markers, while the rose gold version showcases a silvered dial completed with gilded hour-markers. The time is indicated by dauphine-style hour and minute hands and a Baton- style seconds hand. The dial of the timepiece
