Influenced by the exciting world of period car races, the new Chopard watch immediately captures attention with its black function-packed dial. It ensures central hours and minutes. The highlight of the display is a split seconds function, which allows for measurement of intermediate or “split” times.
Set within the dial are also a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock as well as a 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters, located at 12 and 6 o’clock respectively. The chronograph function is also assured by a central sweep seconds hand. The date indication is arranged in a sub-dial at 3 o’clock.
Carefully thought out down to the last detail, the new Chopard Classic Racing Superfast Chrono Split Second watch is available in a 45mm DLC-blackened stainless steel case. It sports a winding crown, embellished with a tiny racing steering-wheel in DLC- blackened steel. Other specific features of the model include grooves on the lugs’ sides, cooling vents and Allen screws on the bezel, equipped with a tachymeter scale.
Hidden inside the case is a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement, which supplies a 42-hour power reserve.
The new Chopard watch is mounted on a Dunlop tire-styled rubber strap.
