Chet Baker Limited Edition watch. It has been inspired by jazzy tunes of the famous musician and his hit
My Funny Valentine.
The
new Oris watch catches attention by
a few original details. You will notice a treble clef located at 12 o’clock and “My Funny Valentine” musical stave printed under the dial flange. The case-back holds one more surprise – an engraving of the great jazzman’s silhouette with his trumpet. The timepiece will be available in a limited edition of 1929 pieces, hinting at Chet Baker’s year of birth.
The
black dial shows the time with help of applied hour-markers and Superluminova-coated polished hands. The date window is found at 6 o’clock.
The
40 mm case of the novelty is rendered in stainless steel. It demonstrates finely crafted lines. The face is shielded by a sapphire crystal cambered on both sides and provided with an anti-reflective treatment on the inside.
The model offers precision timekeeping as it accommodates an
automatic movement - Oris 733 module on Sellita SW 200 calibre. It animates the following functions: hours, minutes, seconds and date.
The
Oris Chet Baker Limited Edition watch is teamed with a black crocodile-pattern leather strap fitted with a steel folding clasp. The timepiece is
30-meter water-resistant. The novelty is delivered in a special box containing a mechanical metronome.
