The timepiece maker Chaumet delights the audience by launching its new Dandy Chronograph XL El Primero automatic watch.
The new Chaumet watch is delivered in a round-shaped 40mm case, rendered in platinum. It sports a bezel and a winding crown, produced from the same material. Both front and back sides of the model are assembled with sapphire crystals. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 30 meters.
The novelty reveals an 18-carat white gold dial with blue Grand Feu enameling. It ensures central hours and minutes as well as small seconds, displayed in the square counter at 9 o’clock.
The new Chaumet Dandy Chronograph XL El Primero automatic watch also offers chronograph functions, presented through a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a central chronograph seconds hand.
All the hands are applied with luminous compound. The large numeral at 12 o’clock is counterbalanced by a date aperture at 6 o’clock.
Animating the functions is a Swiss made self-winding Zenith El Primero 4002 movement. It incorporates a branded oscillating weight. The mechanism operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and offers a 50-hour power reserve.
Keeping the new Chaumet watch secured to the wearer’s wrist is a black Louisiana alligator leather strap with blue double stitching. It joins to a platinum deployant buckle.
