The new Chaumet watch is set in a cushion-shaped two-part 40mm case. It is rendered in polished stainless steel. The model’s architecture incorporates graciously curved lugs and an oversized steel crown, positioned at 12 o’clock.
Both top and bottom of the case are fitted with blue sapphire crystals, inlaid with glare-proofed coating. The case handles the depth of up to 30 meters.
The new Chaumet Dandy Arty Open Face watch accommodates a rhodium-plated automatic mechanical CP 127-V caliber movement, built on 25 jewels. Integrated within its structure is a straight-line lever escapement, a shock absorber, which servers to improve resistance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. Both the movement and the case are signed.
The functions, animated by the caliber, are presented on a deep-blue asymmetric dial, unique in its nature. It shows off-centered hours and minutes by means of blued steel epee hands. The dial also reveals a part of the movement with a Fausses Cotes embellishment on its plate. At 3 o’clock, the display features a stunning perforated wheel.
The new Chaumet watch comes fitted with a tuxedo-style couture strap, manufactured from varnished leather and velvet. The model is delivered in a fitted box, which includes a certificate of authenticity.
