The Swiss watch brand Cecil Purnell presents its new La Grande Date tourbillon watch. As its name implies, the model is equipped with a big date function.The new Cecil Purnell watch is embodied in a round case, manufactured from 18K white or pink gold. Its front side is shielded by a glare-proofed double sapphire crystal. The back part of the case is secured with 18K white or pink gold screws. The model provides 50-meter water-resistance.
Housed in the new Cecil Purnell La Grande Date watch is a mesmerizing dial. It features applied hour-markers with suspended tips. The display shows central hours and minutes. The large date window is found at 11 o'clock. The date is adjusted by a pusher on the crown. The tourbillon mechanism can be admired at 6 o'clock.
Giving life to the functions is a hand-wound caliber CP3988 movement. It is executed in the brand’s new workshop, located at Plan Les Quates in Geneva. Paved with 19 jewels, the caliber beats to the rhythm of 21,600 vibrations per hour and supplies a 60-hour power reserve.
A black leather strap with an 18K white or pink gold buckle rounds off the consummate appearance of the new Cecil Purnell watch.
